The Role

We are looking for a strategic, energetic and relationship-driven leader to grow and manage our team and partnerships in Singapore. As Singapore Head of Partnerships, you will, with the VP of Partnerships and Commercial Development, define the local strategy, establish, lead and develop a strong team of Partnership Managers, whilst also taking an active role in daily operations acquiring and managing key partners, making Privilee’s offering the strongest in the market. The ideal person is well versed within the hotel, fitness and wellness industry and combines a strategic mindset with commercial and operational drive, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about building long-term, genuine relationships with partners that add value to Privilee, our members and our partners themselves.

The role will be based in Singapore, reporting into our VP of Partnerships and Commercial Development, in Privilee's HQ (Dubai, UAE). Our teams across other countries join us in Dubai throughout the year for trainings, quarterly reviews and company celebrations, as Privilee’s culture is rooted in collaboration, transparency and building genuine connections.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: define and execute Singapore’s Partnership Strategy, identifying portfolio growth opportunities aligned with Privilee’s goals, brand and long term vision. Drive the acquisition and retention of partners to strategically build and strengthen Singapore’s partner offering.
  • Commercial Value-add: Be commercially driven on ours and our partners behalf, identifying new opportunities to add value to existing partnerships, strengthening relationships and retaining partners in the long run. 
  • Partnership Management: acquire new partners, build and manage relationships and operations, negotiating the best possible outcomes for both parties and developing partner relations. 
  • Strategic Market Insights: evaluate industry trends and moves of relevant market players, to identify key growth areas and ensure we have a stronger product offering than our competitors.
  • Team Leadership: lead, manage and develop a high performing Partnership Team in Singapore, including hiring the right profiles, mentorship and personal growth aligned with business needs.
  • Operational Excellence: ensure that we develop professional and sustainable partnerships, including smooth daily operations and unwavering support to our partners.
  • Reporting and Learning: continuously monitor, track and analyse partnerships activity to report to the Executive team and shape future plans, with an always-present high-level perspective on the business’ direction.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably in the leisure, hospitality, or related industry.
  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience leading teams, preferably in the leisure, hospitality, or related industry.
  • Well versed and with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, specifically in Singapore. Experience in the hotel and/ or fitness industry is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams, providing clear direction, setting goals, and supporting individual development.
  • Proven track record in defining and executing strategic plans that drive business growth and improve operations, delivering measurable results.
  • Ability to navigate complex negotiations and demonstrated success in managing partnerships and building strong relationships with partners and other stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in successfully handling diverse personality types in negotiations and partnership management.
