A quick 15-20 minutes in the sauna post-workout is non-negotiable for me. If you’ve never tried a cold plunge after training, you’re missing out. These are great for muscle recovery and boosting blood flow, which helps reduce the risk of injury. The cold water increases circulation, helping to repair muscle fibres faster. I make time to squeeze in a cold plunge whenever I can.

Hot and cold therapy
This one’s a bit of a power combo. I love combining the infrared sauna with an ice bath—the contrast between the heat and cold stimulates circulation and promotes recovery like nothing else. I start with the infrared sauna, allowing my body to sweat out toxins and prepare for the ice bath, which helps reduce inflammation and promote muscle recovery. It’s a seriously effective recovery method, and the benefits are undeniable.

An ice bath is one of my favourite ways to reduce inflammation and accelerate recovery. While it’s not always the most comfortable, the results speak for themselves. I always feel energised and ready to tackle whatever comes next after an ice bath. Whether it’s easing sore muscles or speeding up the recovery process, it’s a must for anyone serious about their fitness routine.
