Central location in Abu Dhabi
You'll find Erth Abu Dhabi and Etizan Fitness opposite the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. If the area sounds familiar, it's probably because Erth – now a five-star hotel – was formerly known as Abu Dhabi's Armed Forces Officers Club and Hotel (AFOCH), but recently it's overgone a rebrand and is now even bigger and better.
As part of the rebranding, Erth Abu Dhabi will now include the Etizan Fitness facility, featuring an Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool, numerous training studios, indoor and outdoor football pitches, padel tennis facilities, and so much more. So put on your gym gear, grab a water bottle, and set off on an exciting wellness journey!
Etizan Fitness mixed gym and ladies-only gym
It doesn't matter whether you're a newcomer to the gym scene or a longtime fitness enthusiast – Etizan Fitness will welcome you with open hands. It's not simply the equipment or facilities that go the extra mile, but the atmosphere too. Here, you'll have all the tools to be the best version of yourself.
The impressive fitness centre includes one of the largest mixed gyms in Abu Dhabi, which aims to please the modern-day health and well-being needs of the Abu Dhabi community. With dedicated cardio and weights areas and cutting-edge equipment, you are sure to get your pulse racing.
At Etizan Fitness, you'll also find a ladies-only gym, which, like the mixed gym, has an impressive cardio and weights area, plus plenty of fun group fitness classes to try. Both gyms boast a sleek, contemporary design, which will inspire you for an energising workout. Etizan Fitness really is crème de la crème for working out in style.
Please note that Privilee Members must check in at the Etizan Fitness reception desk to use the gym facilities, including the indoor pool and squash court.
Olympic pool
Nothing gets those endorphins flowing like a good swim. In fact, swimming is not just good for you, it's a splash-tastic way to stay fit! Etizan Fitness's indoor eight-lane Olympic-sized pool is 50 metres long and 2.4 metres deep. Due to the variety of timings and access restrictions, it caters to the needs of swimmers of every level - these are listed below and in the Privilee app.
Please note the pool has different access times. Beginners and kids can use it from 10am to 7pm. Ladies-only access is Tuesdays and Thursdays (10am to 8pm) and Sundays (5pm to 10pm).
Squash court
If working out for you is synonymous with squash, you'll have a blast at Etizan's squash court, which is open every day from 5am to 11pm. For those in need, rackets and balls are available for rental.
Privilee Members can access the Squash Court seven days a week, please book at least one day in advance by calling +971 2 497 5229.
Padel tennis courts
Another great way to get your daily exercise in is to make use of Etizan's five incredible padel tennis courts. Open daily from 7am to 12am, the indoor and outdoor Panorama Pro courts provide an excellent opportunity to improve your throw. What's more, a private ladies' court is available too.
If you need rackets and balls, they can be rented on-site. The best part – as a Privilee Member, you can save 20% on padel tennis facilities.
Please note that the outdoor padel tennis courts are under construction and currently unavailable.
Results-driven group classes
When you are in need of motivation, exercising with like-minded people will do the thing. If you're searching for premium group workout classes, look no more! As a Privilee Member, you have access to Etizan's action-packed fitness schedule. Beginner or advanced, there are classes for all interests and levels.

Hotel-grade changing rooms
Once you spend time at Etizan's changing facilities, you'll never want to go back to a regular gym. Make use of the sauna and steam rooms in both the men's and ladies' changing areas – post-exercise, it's just the recovery you need. For ladies, there’s also a cold plunge pool available.
Blue-Flag certified beach and outdoor pool
While the venue's fitness facilities are truly exceptional, Erth Abu Dhabi & Etizan Fitness isn't simply about working out. It's also a place to relax and daycay in a dreamy setting.
Erth Abu Dhabi features a 1km long picture-perfect (and incredibly Instagram-friendly) beach, where you can wind down after a busy week or enjoy quality time with your loved ones. Kids' pool
Erth Abu Dhabi is a wonderful daycation destination for the whole family. Bring your little ones with you – they can splash away at the excellent kids' pool, which is located just behind the main pool. Etizan Fitness is newly renovated, prior to this, it was an Armed Forces Officers Club. The meaning behind the name is 'legacy', which perfectly explains the venue's history and rich heritage.
Both the mixed and ladies-only gym features brand new Technogym equipment.
At the gorgeous outdoor pool area, Al Walyrah, you'll find complimentary cabanas, which have sockets within them. While you lounge and soak in the sun, you can charge your phone and laptop or even do some work in between!
Whenever you're craving a light snack, Asrah – the on-site swim-up pool bar – is where you should go (or swim). Here, you'll find colourful beverages, delicious ice creams and mouthwatering snacks
