Developer and Data Analyst

The Role
Now we are at a point where we want to make Privilee a data-driven organisation and consistently use data as a value driver, so we are looking for a Data Analyst that owns the end to end data lifecycle and more importantly, is able to put data and insights at the center of the organisation. As a Data Analyst this person will ensure we are using high quality data and insights as a crucial part of making the best decisions in order to grow the business.
Responsibilities
- Data Analytics & Insights: analyze data to uncover insights that support decision making, using advanced analytics, statistics or other needed techniques to extract valuable insights from data. Conduct descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Data Tools: use data visualization techniques to create live dashboards and analytics tools that are 100% trustworthy and usable across the company.
- Data Management: own and automate the ETL process, and ensure data is organized efficiently, is complete, accurate, secure, and used effectively to support organizational goals.
- Data Technology: Able to make decisions when needed on what systems and architectures to use and be able to understand the long term implications on the business.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in Data Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or other roles in big data environments
- Experience designing and building data infrastructure for automated reporting
Skills and competencies
- ETL languages like Hive, Pig, Spark, etc
- Data Analytics languages like SQL, Python, R or others
- Data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc
